Holistic mind-body coach, yoga teacher, nature- explorer, coastal dweller, cat-lover and chocolate addict!
I help people on their healing journey to reconnect with themselves and their emotions, to understand their bodies and the messages in their symptoms.

My Story
Like a lot of people on the healing journey, my story began with illness. After a nasty infection with glandular fever (EBV) at university, aged 19, my health deteriorated to the point of being housebound with ME/CFS, Fibromyaglia, IBS, POTS and a host of other debilitating symptoms. I spent the next 8+ years trying to figure out how to recover and over that time I tried EVERYTHING… medications, CBT, meditation, restrictive diets, supplements, acupuncture, reiki healers, craniosacral therapy, LDN etc. Although some of these things helped relieve symptoms for a while, none of them got me to recovery.
It wasn’t until I learnt about the role of the nervous system in chronic illness that things began to change… I came across brain-retraining programs and ‘rewiring your nervous system programs’ (I took 7 different recovery programs over the course of my illness; hello over-achiever!). Although this gave me a better understanding of what was going on for me and resulted in some little shifts, I still wasn’t FULLY recovered. I didn’t want to just manage my symptoms, I wanted to be THRIVING and living my life to the full!
Through all of my searching and fighting and trying so hard to ‘fix myself’, I came to finally realise (through the help of some beautiful coaches) that I wasn’t broken, my body was just stuck in a cycle of feeling unsafe and abandoned (by myself). I was trying to learn HOW to recover, to understand it all logically, but the missing piece was the integration, the feeling instead of thinking; the EMBODIMENT!
I had to speak the language of my nervous system, cultivate feelings of safety within my body, connect with my body and my emotions, finally FEEL what needed to be felt and gently call myself home. I learnt to change my inner-critical voice to one of self-compassion. I learnt to meet my own needs, to say NO, to set boundaries, to be my own biggest fan, cheerleader, best friend and nurturing parent.
I embodied the healed version of me.
I spent years searching outside of myself, when the answers were within.
Now I’m thriving, doing what I love and I want that for you, too!
Going through this transformational journey has left me with a new, deeper appreciation for life. It has fuelled a desire in me to really embrace every moment of life and do all of the things that light me up and set my soul on fire. My life now is so much more rich than it was before; I travel, hike, swim, kayak, dance, go to festivals, spend lots of time with friends and soak up every experience I can.
On top of that, I now get to support other people through their own transformational journey so that they too can embrace the fullness of life, which is the most rewarding and fulfilling work I have ever done.
